It is to him that all the prophets bear this witness: that all who believe in Jesus will have their sins forgiven through his name.

You know what happened all over Judaea, how Jesus of Nazareth began in Galilee, after John had been preaching baptism.
God had anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and because God was with him,

Jesus went about doing good and curing all who had fallen into the power of the devil.
Now we are witnesses to everything he did throughout the countryside of Judaea and in Jerusalem itself:

yet on the third day God raised him to life and allowed him to be seen, not by the whole people but only by certain witnesses that God had chosen beforehand.

Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ
凡信耶稣为默西亚的，
is a child of God,
是由天主所生的；
and whoever loves the father
凡爱生他之父的，
loves the son.
也必爱那由他所生的。

几时我们爱天主，又遵行他的诫命，
由此知道我们真爱天主的子女。
In this way we know that we love God's children,
when we love God and keep his commandments.

Who can overcome the world
谁是得胜世界的呢？
but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
不是那信耶稣为天主子的人吗？

Jesus came and stood among them.
耶稣来了，站在中间
He said to them, "Peace be with you," and, after saying this,
对他们说：“愿你们平安！”说了这话，
he showed them his hands and his side.
便把手和肋旁指给他们看。
The disciples were filled with joy at seeing the Lord,
门徒见了主，便喜欢起来。

Thomas replied, "My Lord and my God!" Jesus said to him:
多默回答说：“我主！我天主！”耶稣对他说：
You believe because you can see me.

“因为你看见了我，才相信吗？
那些没有看见而相信的，才是有福的！”
Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.
